NEET Result : NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Every year they held this examination for all those candidates to get admission offers in Medical courses. The candidates can then apply to colleges that teaches courses such as MBBS and BDS. This examination is held for both the groups PG (Post-Graduate) as well as UG (Under-Graduate). Both the examinations have already been held and the result of NEET PG has already been released in January , where Dr Shabnam bagged the first rank. This year NEET Exam for Under Graduates will be conducted on in the month of may There was a slight delay in this year examination. The reason for the delay was the application of various languages. The CBSE board decided to conduct exams in 8 different languages, namely: Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi, Assamese and Bengali. The problem occurred when the candidates asked to receive materials in the same language they are going to answer paper. But the materials were not ready and provided in all languages, and because of this the form application date also got delayed.

NEET score card, allows the candidates to enter their necessary details and receive their score card. It is mandatory to notice that the score card will only be able to provide details once the officials have declared the results. The score card site will ask for your Confirmation number, Registering ID and your date of birth. So make sure that you have all the necessary details while filling out the form.

How to Check NEET result

To check the NEET result , applicants are requested to follow the rules and steps provided below. The result will be declared on the official site www.nbe.gov.in and once it is there they can check on this site too receive their score cards as well as results. This year, there are fair chances for results to be displayed on the CBSE site www.cbseresults.nic.in. When you go in the official site, follow the written steps.

  1. Click on the above link to start. That site will be available to you once the official results are declared.
  2. On clicking the link, you will reach a log in the page. When you reach there, you will be asked to fill in the details such as roll number and date of birth. Both the information should be same as entered in application form.
  3. When you enter the correct details, immediately CBSE NEET will display your result on the screen.

  5. Candidates are requested to immediately receive the print outs for their preferences.
  6. The result of NEET will only be valid for the year only i. e. The current academic year (-18).

NEET Cut-off Marks

Cut off marks, are the limit of minimum marks that accounts the applicant as NEET qualified. Only if the applicant receives the cut off marks or more than that, he is able to grasp admission in courses offered. The cut off for NEET are not yet displayed. NEET result Tie-Breaker

If two or more students score equal marks in NEET result , then the following given steps will be undertaken to perform tie-breaker:

  1. Applicant obtaining higher marks than the other in Biology subjects in NEET will break the tie.
  2. Or, the applicant having higher marks in Chemistry in NEET is considered.
  3. Even the less attempted wrong answers will also be taken into account.
  4. And last important criteria are the age of the applicant. The applicant with more age will be preferred.

NEET Merit List

The NEET exam ’s merit list will be released after the declaration of result. This Merit list shows the qualifying percentile and what your percentage and score is in NEET result . NEET merit list also helps the students to know their marks and competitive scores and whether they are qualified or not.

Along with the Merit List, NEET Topper’s List will also be declared on the official site, where the student can check their ranks and their top score. This enables the toppers to realise their overall rank among Lakhs of students. After the NEET result is released, students are asked to keep refreshing and checking the link for the Merit List as well as Topper List.

NEET Counselling

Counselling for NEET will be successfully articulated by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee). Students who achieve at least 50% of marks from the general category are eligible for NEET counselling. The accepted percentile for SC/ST/OBC is 40%. The NEET counselling holds importance for 15% All India quota seats. This information and allotment may differ from states for colleges.
